We’ll only use your personal data on relevant lawful grounds as permitted by the GDPR. We will use your personal data for the purpose or purposes outlined at the time you gave it to us. This may have been during the course of a sale, when signing up for season ticket membership or when simply visiting our website.

Visiting the Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park

As a visitor to the Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park we may collect and use your personal data in order to enter into, administer and manage your visit(s) including managing and performing the underlying contract with you.

Season Ticket Membership

We use the personal data you provide as a season ticket holder to fulfill your membership for the season. This includes sending renewal information to Season Ticket members by mail and email.

Events management

We process customer data in order to fulfill  bookings. Your data will be used to communicate with you throughout the process, including confirming we’ve received your order and payment, to clarify where we might need more detail to fulfill an order or booking, or to resolve issues that might arise with your order or booking. We may also hold dietary requirements depending upon the event.

Online Ticket Purchasing

Through our online ticketing system, which is managed by us (using the  Booking Hound booking system) we will collect and process all forms of data concerned with the completion of a financial transaction to purchase tickets to visit or attend an event at the Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park. Our credit card processing vendor, Stripe, uses security measures to protect your information both during the transaction and after it is complete.

Location data

We use the location data provided by the devices you use to access our website. If you let your device share this information with us, we’ll use it to personalise your experience with us. Your device or web browser will usually prompt you when this is requested.

CCTV Usage

Please note that we use CCTV and surveillance cameras which capture personal data about visitors to our site. This is for the prevention and detection of crime and for protecting the safety and security of our visitors, guests and staff whilst at the Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park.

Marketing communications

We may use your personal data to provide you with marketing information including news, events, activities, offers and services at the Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park. If you agree to receive marketing information from us you can always change your mind at a later date. For our Newsletter marketing we use MailChimp, an online marketing platform, operated by The Rocket Science Group LLC, a company headquartered in the State of Georgia in the United States. The following personal data is held on Mail Chimps servers in the USA: email and name. This data is held for the purpose of sending email marketing and for monitoring performance of our campaigns to help us improve the quality and relevancy of the content that we send to you. We do not share your information with any other third party for marketing purposes unless disclosed at the time of opt-in, and we never sell your data to third parties.

Data retention

We will only retain your personal data for a reasonable period; after you have stopped being an active prospect, customer or supplier and as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
