Unfortunately, pre-booking garden tickets is a stipulation placed upon the Himalayan Garden by the planning office to manage daily visitor numbers. You may book tickets online on the morning of your visit if the daily ticket allocation has not been reached. If you are unable to book online please call us so we can make alternative arrangements for you on 01765 658 009 or email: info@himalayangarden.com
If you are unable to attend on the specific day you have booked (due to an emergency or illness) please contact us to arrange to visit on an alternative day.
Please ensure when purchasing online tickets that they are for the correct venue as we are unable to refund tickets bought for a different garden or sculpture park.
Garden Accessibility
Sadly, the main body of the garden can not be accessed safely by wheelchairs & regular mobility scooters and people with limited mobility, due to its steep valley sides and numerous steps. The nature of the gravel paths means it can also be difficult using children’s pushchairs.
We are partner with the charity Outdoor Mobility who provide an all-terrain mobility scooter for visitors to hire and use at the garden. Click on this link to find out more and book: www.outdoormobility.org/himalayan-garden
If you, or a member of your group uses a wheelchair or mobility scooter or has mobility difficulties, they can enjoy the top of the park and access the Buddha Garden, Information Centre, and make use of the Tearoom and restroom facilities free of charge. A certified carer bringing a visitor to the garden will qualify for free entry, please bring evidence of need with either an Attendance Allowance letter (AA), Carers Allowance Letter of Award, Disability Living Allowance Letter (DLA) or Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
EXTREME WEATHER
Extreme weather conditions, such as strong winds, storms, floods or snow could lead to the Park having to be closed during opening hours, and we may have to ask you to leave the Park. This will be done in accordance with our Health and Safety and Risk Assessments which prioritize visitor and staff safety. If we are unable to open the park or we have to ask you to leave during your visit due to weather conditions, we will arrange for you to visit on an alternative day. Please check the website before you set off for daily updates.
