Some of the most common Himalayan plants are listen below:
Rhododendrons can often be found growing in the on stony mountain ridges and slopes in altitudes in the region of 11,000 – 15,000 ft. There are over 900 species of Rhododendrons, they can be found all over the world from the Himalayas through to China.
Magnolias have around 210 species. Its a pretty clever plant, they aren’t pollinated by Bees since they pre date them. Beetles where used for pollination and this was encourage by the flower. This of cause makes them more likely to attach beetles and have damage caused via eating and the beetles crawling all over.
Azaleas are part of the Rhododendron family. They flower in the spring and their flowers are likely to only last a week. They thrive in the shade under trees, as they don't need as much sunlight as other Himalayan plants.
